We are now a few days into the NCAA open period for the class of 2028 and we already have 8 D1 commitments and 3 of our DSLR 5-Star goaltenders have committed as Dylan Choi verballed to Notre Dame on Thursday morning, followed a couple of hours later with Tucker White choosing Michigan, and yesterday Keith Chari announcing he will be headed to Penn. To see a list of all 35 DSLR 5-Star Recruits announced on Wednesday hit the link below:

Now let's expand our 4-Star selections from the 40 announced in the first wave, as now we will add 65 more to close with 105 4-Star selections in total. We definitely feel this group of 105 players will receive a lot of early attention from college coaches and a good portion will end up at D1 schools while others will choose D2, D3 and MCLA programs. In this day and age, every level of lacrosse has great competition and DSLR will be rooting for you guys no matter where you find the best fit for you is. As Coach V. once said long ago, find the best fit for YOURSELF academically AND athletically, then enjoy the chance to go earn an education along with the opportunity to compete on the lacrosse field, anywhere that happens to be the right fit for you is a good place for you to be.

Congratulations to these 105 southern players who earned DSLR 4-Star Recruit status in the 2028 class. We cant wait to see where youn guys will end up attending college in the future.

We realize there are some players in the south who feel they might might deserve a 4 or 5 star status, but understand we saw as much lacrosse as we possibly could, if we didn't include you it is most likely because we didnt see you or see enough of you. If you are a 2029 don't let that happen to you! Fill out the google form below to get on our masterlist:

Keep an eye out for late 2026/early 2027 when we plan to announce more 4 & 5 star recruits.

Also the Deep South consists of a 9 state region, we saw some really good players from Virginia & Texas, unfortunately those states fall outside of our recruiting zone.

Next we will release our DSLR Positional Breakdown's where we will highlight top southern players off the DSLR Big Board consisting of over 500 southern recruits representing all 9 states in the Deep South. Positional Breakdowns will be dropping in the coming weeks so make sure to check back soon for those.

Good luck to our 2028s, wishing you all a smooth recruiting process.
