DLSR Announces 3-Star Selections for the Class of 2027

We were pleased to announce our 4 and 5-star selections for the 2027 class on August 30 & September 1.

Now let's move onto the 131 junior recruits who received our 3-star accolades. There are 4 types of players included in the 3-star group:

Recruits we have seen a lot locally (especially in FL) and they have demonstrated the ability to excel at the next level
Recruits we have seen sporadically, mostly on the national scene and they have demonstrated the ability to excel at the next level (some of you guys like Barrett, Burke, Carrasquillo, Greene, Higbea, Kingsbury, Moreschi and Satterly likely would've been a 4 or 5-star recruits had we seen you play more)
Multi-sport athletes who usually play less club lacrosse than other recruits, but have demonstrated the ability to excel at the next level
Undersized recruits who have demonstrated the ability to excel at the next level

We expect our 3-stars to end up all over the college landscape with some even committing to D1 programs very soon (some already have!).

There will always be recruits disappointed they didn't receive an accolade. PLEASE DON'T BE! We most likely just didn't see you play very much over the last few seasons, and we're not quite as confident in your abilities as some of the other players we did recognize and probably caught a lot more than you. Some obvious players who probably would've received accolades include Dylan Hanley, Joey Kamp, Stephen Love, Linkin Miller, Blake O'Neal, Seth Popow, Kai Ravndal, Patrick Roach, Andreas Roux, Tyler Salvati, Moe Soebel, Max Stewart, Braeden Vetter, Wyn Wade, Ezra Williams (not sure if he's actually from the south), and Stellan Wright to name a few, but we barely saw them/never saw them and unfortunately it's just impossible to know how good you are until we get to witness your peformance for ourselves. There are so many teams and players in our 9 state region, we always do our best to see as many of you as possible, but with such short seasons, some teams we just haven't cross paths with recently. The DSLR crew will be back out this fall watching again and will add more star players to the list in January 2026. 2028's should look to get on our radar very soon as well. Please consider filling out our google form now, so we can get as many looks as possible in the upcoming seasons.

Keep checking the website and social media for our Big Board posts leading into the the upcoming fall-ball season. We will be releasing names of 500+ southern junior recruits, position by position, with representation from all 9 states in our region.
