Peach Belt Conference adds Men's Lacrosse as championship sport

coyotemagic

The Peach Belt Conference announced earlier this month that they will be adding Men's Lacrosse as their 16th championship sport beginning in the spring of 2021. The conference will consist of the University of Alabama-Huntsville, Lander University, the University of Montevallo and Shorter University during 2021. It will expand to 6 teams in 2022 when it plans to add Flagler College and Young Harris College, thus allowing an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament. The inaugural season will begin in February 2021 with the inaugural teams playing a double round-robin conference schedule starting in mid-March. The PBC will hold its first tournament April 30 and May 2, 2021, with all 4 inaugural teams participating in the competition.
